Poojary offers special prayers for Lance Naik Hanumanthappa’s recovery

Mangaluru, Feb 10, 2016: Veteran Congress leader and former union minister  B Janardhana Poojary offered a special pooja at the Shree Gokarnanatha Temple at Kudroli on February 10, Wednesday to pray for the early recovery of  Lance Naik Hanumanthappa  who was miraculously found alive after remaining buried in snow for six days after the avalanche in Siachen.

 

 

 

Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Poojary  while describing the tough weather conditions under which soldiers  safeguard the borders, said "Lord Gokarnanatha has gifted us everything. Today we have prayed for the early recovery of Lance Naik Hanumanthappa who is in a critical state. We have also prayed for the souls of  the nine soldiers who lost their lives in the avalanche."
