Poojary offers prayers for Jayalalitha’s recovery

Mangaluru Dec 5, 2016: Senior Congress leader Janardhana Poojary offered prayers at the Shree Gokarnanatha Temple at Kudroli on December 5, Monday  for the speedy recovery of ailing Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha.

 

 

Speaking to the media later,  Poojary said  Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha has been a model for the women fraternity. Today, the  entire country is offering prayers for her recovery, he added.

Referring to the recent Cauvery row that escalated tension between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Poojary said  peace and harmony was a must for  development.

It may be recalled here that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha who  has been undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital since the past two months, had suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday evening following which her condition has turned critical.
