Speaking to media men here on November 25, Tuesday, Poojary said Shivakumar  has erred by  doing so and urged him to admit his mistake. He also urged  the minister not to embarrass the Chief minister as well as his party through such actions.

Poojary further said as a well-wisher he would request Shivakumar to correct himself and refrain from spoiling the party’s image. He also made a request to the Chief Minister to intervene in the matter.

On the brewing controversy in Udupi over District Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake’s reported comments  on Shobha Karandlaje with regard to the “Kiss of Love” campaign, Poojari accused the BJP  of blowing up the issue and politicising it.

As usual, when referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wife as well as the latest reports regarding the RTI application filed by her to know about her security, Poojary said “If at all Modi has compassion, then he should bring his wife back  home.” “It was because of his wife’s prayers that Modi became the Prime Minister,” Poojary said.
