Pollution Control Board officials raid cracker shops

Mangaluru, Nov 17, 2020:    Officials of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board on November 16, Monday raided several  cracker shops in the city and various parts of the district on November 16, Monday and seized  crackers which were being sold in violation of the government directive to sell only green crackers.

 

The raid followed a direction by Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr K V Rajendra. Even the government had issued stern instructions to all District Administrations to ensure strict compliance to the rule relating to sale of only green crackers.
