Politics should not be vital in academics

Udupi, May 25, 2018: Conclusion without proper discussion and consideration is hazardous.  Academic circles leaning towards politics is an unfortunate development, opined Litterateur Aravinda Chokkadi.

 

Speaking after releasing the book ‘Prachina Bharatada Tatvadarshanagalu’, authored by retired Principal Uday Kumar Habbu, at MGM College, Udupi recetlt.

People have not been accepting other opinions. Accepting some things without giving it proper thought is not correct.
Udupi district Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Neelavara Surendra Adiga lamented that the children of today are losing their childhood. The teachers should encourage students to develop the habit of reading.

Translated children’s novel ‘Lundeeriya’ was also released on the occasion. The programme was organised jointly by Anantha Prathibha Prakashana, Kinnigoli and Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai Research Centre, Udupi.
