Police foil robbery attempt, six held in connection at Beluvai

Moodabidri, Dec 18, 2016:  Moodabidri  police on  December 17 ,Saturday arrested six person who were planning an armed robbery in the vicinity. A Mahindra Scorpio, mobile phones and iron rods were confiscated from them.

Moodabidri police Inspector Ramachandra Nayak  along with his team patrolling in Beluvai area on tip-off was received, waylaid a Mahindra Scorpio were planning for an armed robbery .The police have succeed in arresting six  persons. During the police action, two of their aides managed to flee from the spot and a search is on for him.

The accused are being questioned to extract details of their activities.

Investigations are in progress at Moodabidri police station.
