Police detain two women in robbery case, seized 80 gram jewelry

Mangaluru Aug 6, 2016: Mangaluru Police succeeded in detaining two women near Roopavaani theate in relation to the robbery case and seized 80 gram gold and rupees 1,45,000 from their possession, informed DCP Shantharaju.

Arrested has been identified as Silvi (24) and Arai (22) resident of Mettu Palayam in Tamil nadu.

 

 

Addressing to the press at Commissioners Office today Saturday, he said that both are accused are involved four robbery cases in the city where they snatch gold chain and purse without the knowledge of the person and flee away from the spot.

SI Beliyappa, Mohammed Sharif, Ananth Pandeshwar, Vishwanath were part of this operation.

DCP Dr Sanjeev M Patil was present.
