Police Dept has failed to curb Honnavar violence : Shobha

Udupi, Dec 08, 2017:  Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje has accused the Police Department of inaction in curbing the communal unrest in Honnavar.

 

Addressing reporters here on Friday, she said the police have failed to act against those responsible for the violence in  Honnavar.

Taking strong exception to the act of the peace disruptors who   damaged the Shanishwara Shrine, Shobha alleged that the authorities arrested Hindu  activists instead of the culprits.

The Chief Minister who is on a tour in Uttara Kannada has also  failed to order investigation into the untoward incidents, she complained.
