Pick-up vehicle goes out of control; 2 bike riders injured

Bantwal, June 24, 2019: Two bike riders  sustained injuries when a pick-up vehicle which went out of control of its driver  rammed into their bike  and came to an abrupt halt after hitting the embankment pillar of the Peruvai bridge on June 23, Sunday.

 

The injured bike riders, Krishnappa Poojary (38) of Peruvai and Ashok (32) of Kudtameguru have been  admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru after initial treatment  at a  hospital in Vittal.

The pick-up vehicle which was on way to Maanila from Peruvai Junction  went out of control of the driver at a slopy area resulting in the mishap. The impact of the collision was such that the bike landed in a nearby drain. Both the vehicles were damaged.

Bantwal police have registered a case.
