Phd awarded to Narampady Guthu Sankappa Rai

Mangaluru, July 3, 2017: Narampady Guthu Sankappa Rai B. Chief Librarian, A. J. Institute of Engineering and Technology Mangaluru has been awarded PhD degree in Library and Information Science by Mangalore University for his thesis entitled “Convergence of Information and Communication Technologies and its Applications in Engineering College Libraries: A study with reference to Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts of Karnataka, India”.

He was successfully guided by (Rtd.) Professor Dr. Mahesh V. Mudhol Department of Library and Information Science of Mangalore University. He did his graduation from St. Philomena College Puttur and his Master’s degrees in Library and Information Science from Mangalore University.

The research articles have been presented and published in various conferences and Journals. He is the son of Bantukallu Venkappa Rai B. and Narampady Guthu Sharadha Rai.
