Phalimar shrine burgled

Padubidri, June 11, 2018: Thieves have stolen the silver plating  of the  doors of the Shasthavu Gudi in the outer precincts of the Phalimar Mahalingeshwara Temple on Sunday night.

 

The locks of  the door of the Gudi were also found broken. The theft came to light when the priest Srinivasa Udupa arrived as usual on Monday morning for the pooja.

The Temple management has lodged a police complaint following which police officers have visited the shrine for investigation. The silver plating was done for the door twelve years ago with the help of donations from the devotees.
