Petro Park on anvil in Mangaluru, says Union Minister Ananth Kumar

Puttur, Jan 25, 2015: Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers  Ananth Kumar has informed that the city of Mangaluru will  get  a pipeline for supply of  gas to domestic and commercial users.

Speaking at the inaugural of a three-day  Krishi Yanthra Mela 2015, an exhibition of agricultural implements and machinery at Puttur on January 24, Saturday,  the minister also informed that  the petro gas pipeline between Kochi and Mangaluru is expected to complete soon  following the assurance of the Kerala Government to support the project.

He also spoke about the plans of the Union Government to have a Petro Park (Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region- PCPIR) in  Mangaluru.

Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala urged farmers to  make good use of agricultural machinery.
