People from other states should enter Udupi only if their Covid report is negative : DC

Udupi, July 07, 2020:    Udupi District Deputy Commissioner Dr G Jagadeesha has  said that people from other states can return to Udupi only if their Covid-19 test report is negative and that they should not return before they receive their test report.

 

He has also warned of criminal case against anyone returning to the district before their Covid result is available and in case the report turns out positive.

The DC has also asked private laboratories to inform the district administration of any positive Covid-19 reports of people from other states.

The Deputy Commissioner even expressed his displeasure over the fact that social distancing was not followed in buses and directed the officials concerned to take necessary measures to ensure social distancing.
