Pejawar Swamiji’s mortal remains taken to Bengaluru by IAF chopper for last rites

Udupi, Dec 29, 2019: The mortal remains of Sri  Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji  of Pejawar Mutt were taken to  Bengaluru on Sunday afternoon by a helicopter of the Indian Air Force.

The mortal remains were earlier placed at the Ajjarkad grounds  for the public to pay their last respects. From there it was taken to the Adi Udupi helipad.

Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje, MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Diwan of Pejawar Mutt and others close to  the Swamiji too travelled in the helicopter.

Udupi DC Jagadish, IGP Arun Chakravarthi, SP Nisha James were present at the helipad.
