Pedestrian killed after struck by Omni van near Mittur

Vittal, Dec 22, 2017 : In a tragic incident pedestrian dies  after struck  by a Maruthi Omni on Mysuru-Mangaluru highway near Mittur on December 22, Friday.

 

The deceased is idenitied as Balakrishna(33) resident of Kedila Karimajalu.

Sources said that a Maruthi Omni on its way from Mani towards Puttur hits Balakrishna who was walking beside the road, goes out of control and topples. Due to imapct the Balakrishna  was gravely injured and died on the spot. The occupants of the car have escaped with minor injuries.

Vittal police have registered the case.
