Peace meet held : People urged not to pay heed to rumours

Mangaluru, Nov 16,2016 :  Leaders who participated in a peace meeting convened at Mangaluru Police Commissioner’s Office on November 15, Tuesday in the wake of untoward incidents in Ullal area  have  urged the people not to give scope or pay heed to any rumour.

The meeting was participated among others by Chandra Shekhar, City Police Commissioner,  UT Khader, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, K G Jagadeesha, Deputy Commissioner and Bhushan Gulabrao Borase, SP and  Kumar, Additional DC.

Abdul Rasheed, President of Ullal Darga Committee, Mohammad Mukkachery, Councillor, Satish Kumpala, Ullal CMC President and others were also present and urged the Police Department to ensure that the real culprits are arrested.

The local leaders also assured co-operation to the Police Department in  ensuring peace and harmony.

K M Shantharaju, DCP  was also present. City Police and KSRP also held a peace march in Ullal.
