Passengers annoyed as Yeshwanthpur-Karwar Express remains stranded for long

Mangalore, June 11, 2014:  The Yeshwanthpur-Karwar Express which had arrived at  the Mangalore Junction at 7.30 am on June 11, Wednesday, remained stranded for several hours, before it proceeded well past noon.

Nonetheless, the long halt at the station tested the patience of the passengers who were unclear about the reason for the same. The station master however tried to give an excuse that some signal problem had delayed the departure of the train from the station.

In the meanwhile, an officer revealed that   the Yeshwanthpur-Karwar Express train was halted as two other trains coming from Mumbai and Goa were to enter the station on the same line.
