Passenger held at MIA with Rs 35 lakh worth gold concealed in rectum

Mangaluru, Dec 02, 2023: Customs officials at the Mangaluru International Airport have seized gold worth Rs 35 lakhs from a passenger who arrived by an Air India Express flight from Dubai on November 29.

 

The gold in oval form was hidden in paste form in his rectum. The gold weighed 571 grams.
