Passenger found in possession of 2 live bullets arrested at MIA

Mangaluru, May 4, 2016: Security personnel at the Mangaluru International Airport have on May 2, Monday arrested a   person who was found in possession of two live bullets in his baggage.

The arrested person is John Fernandes.  He was supposed to travel in a Jet Airways Flight to Mumbai and from there to Israel.

The two live bullets in the baggage were noticed by the authorities during x-ray screening.

The accused  has been produced before the court and has been entrusted to police custody for interrogation.

Bajpe police have registered a case.
