Passenger dies of heart attack in Moving Bus in Udupi.

Udupi: June 8, 2015: A 55 year old man died after suffering a heart attack in bus while travelling from Hiriyadka to Udupi on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Gopal Nayak from Guddeangady, Hiriyadka.

 

Gopal Nayak had boarded the bus at Guddeyangadi, Bailoor. He took a ticket to alight at Manipal.

Nayak developed severe chest pain and fell unconcious. Suspecting something wrong, the bus driver immediately took the bus to Udupi bus stand and informed Nityananda Volakadu, secretary of Nagarika Vedike.

Nityananda rushed to Udupi bus stand with an ambulance, from there he was taken to Ajjarkad Hospital where he breathed his last.

According to the sources, Nayak was diabetic and was on his way to Manipal for a checkup.
