Parked lorry moves reverse all of a sudden; one injured; many vehicles damaged

Mangaluru, Nov 08, 2023: One person sustained serious injuries while four cars, a two-wheeler and a cloth shop were damaged after a parked lorry all of a sudden moved in the reverse direction at Suratkal on November 8, Wednesday.

 

The goods laden lorry was parked near the Bharath petrol bunk in the Suratkal town in order to travel in the Ro-Ro train. The driver was away when the parked lorry moved all of a sudden in the reverse direction and hit the cars parked near the Mooda market. A person who was standing near these cars has sustained serious injuries and has been rushed to the hospital.

Suratkal police are at the spot.
