Parents donate body of 16 yr daughter as per her wish

Mangaluru, Nov 02, 2018:  The body of 16 year old Prathiksha from Ashoknagar who died of  bone cancer  on October 31, Wednesday was donated to the KMC Hospital by her parents Kumaraswamy and Vandana on Thursday as per her  wish.

Pratiksha, a tenth standard student of  Sharada Vidyalaya had reportedly expressed her desire regarding donating her body, with her mother a few days ago.

 Pratiksha who was a brilliant girl was diagnosed with bone cancer when she was in sixth standard. Though she had fully recovered after a  treatment for two years, the illness had  recurred and finally she  lost her battle against cancer and breathed her last at a private hospital here on Wednesday.

Pratiksha has left behind her parents, her twin brother Preetham and her elder brother Prajwal Krishna, a second year degree student at Aloysius College.

Pratiksha had also cleared junior grade exams in Carnatic classical music.
