Padubidri: Man dies after accidentally brushing teeth with rat poison

Padubidri, Nov 08, 2023: In a horrific incident, a 53-year-old man from Inna village died after he used rat poison to brush his teeth by mistake, instead of toothpaste.

 

The deceased has been identified as Venkappa. On November 1, he had gone to brush his teeth in the morning, unfortunately, he picked up a tube of rat poison kept adjacent to the toothpaste.

He was rushed to a private hospital immediately for treatment, but despite all attempts to save his life, Venkappa succumbed to the poisoning on November 6.

A case has been registered in this regard at Padubidri Police Station.
