Padmaraj R is Congress candidate from Dakshina Kannada LS constituency

Mangaluru, Mar 22, 2024: Congress has fielded advocate and Billawa community leader Padmaraj R as its candidate from the prestigious Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency.

 

Padmaraj who has been actively involved in the works of the Kudroli Gokarananatha Temple as its Treasurer is a leader who was nurtured and groomed by veteran Congress leader and former union minister Janardhan Poojary. He hails from Balur in Moodigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district.

Padmaraj secured his BA from Sacred Heart College Madanthyar and degree in law from SDM Law College Mangaluru. He started practice under the guidance of Janardhan Poojary in 1995.

Known for his social works through Gurubeladingalu Foundation, he had also helped many poor families during Covid.
