Padekari Dacoity case: 10 persons arrested

Puttur, Nov 6, 2016: DCIB Police nabbed 10 persons in relation with the dacoity case at Vishnu Bhats house in Padekari, informed Superintendent of Police Bhushan Borase.

Addressing media at his office on Sunday November 6, he said that, arrested have been identified as Krishna Shetty (35), Dhanush (24), Roopesh Kumar (26), Milton Pinto (24), Bharath (19), Rakesh (19), Ratan (25), Suresh (34), Praveen (23), Shabari (24), Yashodar (38) and Nagesh is absconding.

Shabari who was neighbour of Vishnu Bhat and was aware about the treasure at Vishnu Bhats house later informed Praveen and Suresh. Later Yashodar Shetty planned the theft and on Ocotber 25th 12 people entered Vishnu Bhats house and tied his wife and maid and decamped treasure from the house.

Police have recovered gold worth Rs 50,000, Xylo Car, Alto Car and four mobiles from their possession.

Under the guidance of SP Bhushan Borase, Operation was carried out by Additional SP Vedamurthy, ASP Rishyanth, DCIB Amanullah, Anil, PI Cheluvaraj and others.
