PWD Minister calls on ex CM Siddu at Ujire

Mangaluru, June 20, 2018: New Public Works Department Minister H D Revanna on  June 19, Tuesday called on former chief minister Siddaramaiah, who is undergoing naturopathy treatment at Ujire.

After inspecting the Charmadi Ghat stretch work, Revanna drove to Ujire and held  discussion with Siddaramaiah for more than half an hour.

According to a source, they discussed the budget presentation by the coalition government.

Revanna reportedly told Siddaramaiah that the budget will be discussed in the coordination committee meeting. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will present the budget after discussing the promises, made by both the parties during the election, in the committee meeting.

Their discussion also focused on coordination committee meeting and Cabinet expansion.

Later, Revanna told media persons, "It was a courtesy visit. I just inquired about his health. There is no confusion on budget presentation."

Siddaramaiah is the chairman of Congress-JD(S) Coordination Committee.
