Owner of Sambhram Decorators, Carstreet found dead in well; suicide suspected

Mangaluru, Aug 17,2016 :  In a case of suspected suicide, Jayaraj Shetty (43), Proprietor of Sambhram Decorators at Carstreet in Mangaluru  has been dead in a well in the compound of  his newly constructed house at Pachanady on August 17, Wednesday.

 It is suspected that financial problems might have driven Jayaraj to the extreme step. Sources said he looked a bit depressed since the past few days. It has been gathered that Jayaraj was at his house till Tuesday afternoon and left at around 3 pm.  He used to take orders for decorations at weddings and other functions and was supposed to go to Udupi on Wednesday.

 On not finding him, family and friends had launched a search for him only to find his body on Wednesday. The house-warming ceremony of his new house was held just two months ago, informed  his friends.

The deceased Jayaraj has left behind his wife and daughter who is a tenth standard student.

Mangaluru Rural Police have registered a case.
