Over speeding claims life of young bike rider

Kundapur, Jan 12, 2015: A young man met a tragic end in a midnight road accident   on the National Highway 66 at Koteshwar on January 11, Sunday.

 

The deceased is Shamanth Kumar Devadiga (18), son of Sushila of Tekkatte. The accident occurred near the Rachana Bar at Koteshwar when the Discover bike of Shamanth skidded  and crashed against the footpath killing him on the spot. It is learnt Shamanth was riding at great speed.

He was on way to  Tekkatte from Kundapur when the mishap  took place. It is learnt,  people came to know about the accident several hours after it took place as there was hardly any vehicle on the road at that time.

Kundapur police have registered a case.
