Moodbidri, Jan 08, 2017: Our aim is to make Karnataka the No. 1 state in India. The Congress government must be brought to power again if this vision has to be realised, said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
He was speaking after inaugurating various developmental projects and after laying foundation for several new projects at Moodbidri at a function held at Swaraj Maidan of Moodbidri on January 7, Sunday.
The CM said that secularism is intact in Karnataka which is a land of Sufis and Saints. The Congress wants a hunger-free, drought-free and debt-free Karnataka, he said adding BJP leaders like Yeddyurappa who have been to jail are not trustworthy
Abhayachandra Jain, local MLA turned emotional as he began his presidential address at the function and thanked the CM for giving him an opportunity to serve as a minister.
