He has debunked the rumours that the Home Minister Parameshwar has asked the Police commissioner to go slow on the investigation. He has also stated that no pressure is being brought upon the home minister for ordering the Mangalore Commissioner of police for going slow on the investigation. He said that proper and fast investigation will be done to bring the justice.

Prof. Narendra Naik congratulated Oscar Fernandes for having finally responded to the grief of the family and this dastardly act. Since it is his party that brought about the RTI act we do hope that he will order his government in Karnataka to speed up the investigation and bring the culprits to book. I do hope that the anticipatory bail application of one of the main accused Naresh Shenoy will be opposed tooth and nail by the govt. public prosecutors.

“I also hope that Mr. Fernandes will move his party govt. in Karnataka to compensate the family for the loss of their main and sole bread earner” said Mr. Nayak.

AICC member, P.V. Mohan and Gafoor from Udupi accompanied Oscar Fernandes on his visit.
