One more coronavirus positive case reported in Dakshina Kannada on Wednesday

Mangaluru, April 1, 2020: Dakshina Kannada district reported one more coronavirus positive case on Wednesday. A 49year-old man, who had a travel history to Dubai, tested positive for the highly contagious disease. He had returned to India on March 20.

He was admitted to Puttur general hospital on March 28 as he was suffering from sore throat. His swab samples were sent for test. The report was received on Wednesday in which he was tested positive.

As on Wednesday, there are nine Covid-19 positive  cases in Dakshina Kannada.

21 people from Dakshina Kannada attended Tablighi Jamaat conference in Nizamuddin in Delhi have been contacted and are under quarantine.
