One held in connection with several theft cases in Karkala

Karkala, Dec 14, 2016 : One person held in connection with several theft cases by Karakala Town and Rural police on December 14, Wednesday.

Valuables worth Rs3.5 Lakhs was recovered from him .

Umanath Prabhu(47)of Miyar in Karkala is the accused arrested.

During interrogation Umanath reaveaved the fact that he was engaed in theft in 8 houses , a Temple in the year 2015 and  sevarl other places in vicinity this year.

Police have recovered 134 grams of gold , Silver ornaments worth Rs. 25,000 and 11,000 in cash. A total of 3.5 lakhs was recovered.
