One arrested for derogatory FB posts against Hindu Goddess

Mangluru,Aug 18, 2017: A look out notice was issued against two persons who had posted derogatory comments on Facebook against  Hindu Godess. On information police swung into action and  arrested one in Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai.

 

Darvez Mohidin (27) is identified as the accused arrested at Mumbai Aiorport by Immigration officer.

As per complaint in Mangaluru North police staion on a fake Facebook account  created in the name of Jabbar B C Road poosted  derogatory comments  against the Hindu Goddess. The accused were ideintified as Kalandar Shafi B M and Darvez Mohidin , both were staying abroad police had issued a lookout circular against them.

One accused Kalandar was arrested on October 9, 2016 as landed at Mangaluru International Airport was produced before court and sent to judicial custody. Manglauru police reached Mumabi on infornmation about Darvez took him to custody.


Investigations are underway.
