One arrested for conspiring to murder

Mangaluru, May 29, 2016:It has been brought to notice that the police succeeded in arresting an accused for conspiring to commit a murder near Swaraj Maidan on May 18.

Samithraj Daregudde is the suspect. He was arrested at Daregudde on may 27, Thursday. Three others accused in the case, Nataraj (25) from Kunjathbail, Raviraj (29) and Subhash from Kavoor have already been arrested. On questioning, they revealed that the conspiracy was hatched by Bombay Kiran Shetty who was presently lodged in Mysuru jail. They also revealed that the car seized belonged to Samithraj.

Samithraj had been absconding after the incident and after his arrest he stated that he had given the car to Sujith Shetty on rent; Sujith too is absconding.   Samithraj was produced before court and remanded to judicial custody.
