Offenders will not be spared, warns DGP Praveen Sood

Mangaluru, Sep 09, 2020: No one who has committed a crime will be spared and every effort would be made to ensure such people do not get bail, said State DGP Praveen Sood.

He was speaking to reporters after participating in a progress review meet at the City Police Commissioner’s office on Tuesday.

"There is nothing called high profile or low profile cases for the Department, all cases are treated equally," he said adding drugs mafia related cases will be probed from all angles.

He said it is the collective responsibility of everyone in the society to root out the drugs menace. There is a need for greater awareness, he added.

On this occasion, he also had a word of praise for the Police personnel who are serving efficiently during Covid times.

SP B M Laxmi Prasad, Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar, IGP Devajyothi Roy, DCPs Arunamshugiri, Vinay Gaonkar and others were present.
