North MLA Moideen Bava apologizes for distorting an Ayyappa devotional song

Mangaluru, Mar 10,2018 : Mangaluru City North MLA BA Mohiuddin Bava apologisges for unknowingly hurting the religious  sentiments by using  a converted version of Ayyappa devotional song for his political campaign.

Addressing the media, today he said , "I did not have any intention to hurt the sentiments of any religion, I’ve been apart of several programmes and was a devotee of Ayyappa Swamy . I pray for prosperity of my  devotees  and have also donated funds for the development of Ayyappa temple. I received the song which may have been created by my followers or those who are against me".

"Hurting religious sentiments was never the intention and I also urge everyone not to make the song viral. The issue is being politicized by some. I’m ready to face the consequences for my mistake", he said.
