No waste collection in the city due to lack of workers

Mangaluru, Apr 24, 2019: Many out of town employees of Anthony Waste Handling Cell Pvt Ltd have gone on leave for casting their votes. This has caused  the door-to-door waste collection in the city to be seriously crippled for for at least two days, stated the company official.

 

The second phase of polling for 14 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka was held on April 23, Tuesday.

The employees who have availed leave to visit their hometown to cast votes are likely to return before the week end.

DK DC S Sasikanth Senthil who was informed of the situation has said that he would direct the company to make sure proper alternate measures are taken to insure city residents are not uncomfortable.
