Subrahmanya, June 1,2017 : Sri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Sode Vadiraj Mutt of Udupi visited the Sri Samputa Narasimha Mutt of Subrahmanya on May 31, Wednesday thus reinstating a relationship that was cut off 250 years ago due to some differences.
The Subrahmanya seer Sri Vidya Prasanna Theertha Swamiji had visited the Sode Mutt on Monday. On Wednesday accompanied by the Sode seer he arrived at Subrahmanya where a Poorna Kumbha welcome was accorded to the Sode seer. The two offered pooja at the Kashikatte Mahaganapathi Temple following which they were taken in a decorated vehicle towards to the Subrahmanya shrine accompanied by Tiger dancers, Chende team of Kerala and musical instruments.
The two seers later visited the shrine and Samputa Narasimha Swami Mutt. The Sode seer was offered Pada Pooja and was felicitated at a function held at Rajangana of the temple.
