Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy hosts Physio-Con 2017

Mangaluru, Jan 28, 2017:  Physio-Con 2017, an International Physiotherapy   Conference organised by the Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy was  inaugurated at the KSHEMA Auditorium at  Derlakatte on January 27, Friday by  Indian Association of Physiotherapists  President  Dr Umashanker Mohanthy.

In his address, Mohanthy  said Physiotherapy plays a very important role in the health and well being of an individual.   More progress can be achieved in the field of  physiotherapy when physiotherapists  come  together and hold active deliberations, he added.

 He also stated that all the seven lakh physiotherapists of the  nation are in touch  through the association.

Prof. Dr S Ramananda  Shetty,   Vice Chancellor of Nitte University presided over the function.  Dr M S Moodittaya, Registrar,  Dr Steve  Milanes of  Australia, Dr Christina from Sweden and Dr Valentine C Dones  from Philippines were he resource persons.

Dr Dhanesh Kumar K U,  Principal of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy and others were present.
