Nitte : Engineering student from Punjab dies in Bike accident

Nitte, Jan 28: An Engineering student  of NMAMIT died on the spot in a bike –Car collision at Nitte on Thursday, January 28, 2016.  The victim is identified as Moon Rajput aged 23 from Chandigarh, Punjab. He was a final year student at Nitte Engineering College. He was a meritorious student

 

 

According eye witness, a Maruti Omni from Nitte going towards Belman collided with Rajput’s bike, killing him on the spot. Moon Rajput was riding his bike towards the mess when the accident took place. He died on the spot as he was not wearing a helmet.

The Maruti Omni driver and wife escaped with minor injuries. They have been admitted to a hospital. Karkala rural police have registered a case.
