Nine persons injured in Bus- Truck head on collision

Puttur, Feb 03, 2017: Nine persons were injured in bus collide head on with truck on February 03, Friday in Puttur.

The injured are identified as Veena (14), Shashidhar (40), Shyamala (35), Deepashri (14), Zainabi (50), Prithvi (22), Soumya (20), Jayalaxmi (15) and Nirmala. The injured are being treated at a private hospital in Puttur.

It is said that  private bus plying towards Vittla from Puttur rams into truck coming from opposite direction near Panaje. Due to the impact of  collision nine persons, others escape with minor injuries.

The eye witness says that rash and negligent driving was the reason for the accident. Puttur rural police registered the case.
