New twist to sexual harassment case; public file complaint against ‘victim’

Kundapur,July 19, 2015: The case of alleged sexual harassment of a young woman of Kota Giliyaru by two persons has taken a new turn with    hundreds of locals marching to the Kota police station on July 17, Friday night to complain against the girl. They also alleged that the girl had a bad conduct.

Earlier, the girl had lodged a complaint against Ganesh and Nagaraj alleging that they had sexually harassed her. Based on her complaint the duo was arrested and police had slapped a case against them under POSCO Act on July 17.

The girl in her complaint had also alleged that two others namely Harish and Sirnivas had been blackmailing her and had circulated an obscene video featuring her on Whatsapp.

Kota inspector Kabbalraj who has accepted teh complaint from the public has assured a transparent probe into the case.
