New policy for mobile tower installation soon : Minister Khader

Mangaluru, Nov 17, 2018: A new policy with regard to construction of  mobile towers  is on cards, informed DK District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Urban Development and Housing U T Khader.

Speaking to reporters here on November 17, Saturday, he said  at present there was no  specific policy  with regard to installation of mobile towers and frequency towers, many of which are seen close by residential places and schools.

He said the issue would be discussed at a meeting  and a notification is likely to be issued.

On the Kudroli abattoir row, Khader said he has written to the Prime Minister seeking a clarification.
