New MCC Commissioner Hephsiba Rani assumes office

Mangaluru, Jan 1, 2015:  Newly appointed Commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation Hephsiba Rani Korlapati  took charge on January 1, Thursday.  An IAS officer of 2011 batch, she is the 20th rank holder in IAS exams and has earlier served as Assistant Commissioner of Basavakalyana sub-division in Bidar district.

Speaking after assuming office, the new Commissioner  assured to strive hard to provide an efficient administration.  She also said  as she was new to the city she would need time to  study the situation.

 She also promised that she would accord top priority to  ensure  early solution to the  civic problems. She assured to put in her best efforts to offer efficient service to the people of Mangaluru.
