New Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha’s Episcopal Ordination on Sept 15

Mangaluru, July 14 2018: The Episcopal Ordination of Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, the newly appointed Bishop of Mangaluru Diocese will be held at the Rosario Cathedral on September 15 at 9.30 am. He will take charge from the outgoing  Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza.

 

Dr Peter Paul Saldanha was appointed as Bishop by Pope Francis on July 3. The present Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza has served  the Diocese for 22 years.

The Episcopal Ordination ceremony  will be attended by a host of religious leaders and faithful including Apostolic Nuncio from New Delhi as well as bishops and cardinals from various places.
