Netravathi, Kumaradhana flowing close to danger mark

Mangaluru, Aug 08, 2019:  Rain fury is continuing in Dakshina Kannada district. Netravathi and Kumaradhara rivers are flowing close to danger mark. In this backdrop Deputy Commissioner Sasikanth Senthil has instructed  officials to be on high alert. Nodal officers are camping at places that are likely to face danger and are  keeping an eye on the situation.

Water from Kempuhole  has gushed into the road at Udane in Shirady village  of Uppinangady  on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway 75. Vehicles have been asked to  use the Periyashanti, Mardala, Subrahmanya, Kaikamba, Gundya road.
