Nepali arrested on theft charges in Padubidri

Udupi, July 19, 2015: A Nepali who was taken into custody by the cops on suspicion on July 18, Saturday morning was later found to be a person wanted in connection with a theft case.


 Nepali arrested on theft charges in PadubidriThe accused identified as Prakash Bahadur (42) has been   produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.


The local SI Ajmath Ali and his personnel who were patrolling had spotted Prakash walking with a bag in hands.


When questioned he gave vague replies and took him to the station. The cops found a rod, cutting pliers, torch and two body sprays in the bag.


During interrogation he even admitted to have burgled Sumangala Super Bazar at Padubidri on July 13 and had stolen some cash and goods.

 He earlier worked in a nursery at Padubidri and was presently employed in a scrap shop at Udyavar along with his wife.
