Nelyady : Cops rescue 22 cattle; arrest one person

Nelyady, Oct 19, 2019: Nelyady Police have rescued 22 cattle which were crammed in a lorry  and were being smuggled towards Mangaluru from Hassan and have arrested a person after a hot chase at Kolpe during the wee hours of Saturday.

 

The arrested person is Nawaz of Tumakuru. Though the police tried to intercept the vehicle at Hosamajalu on suspicion,   it tried to  escape forcing the cops to chase it upto Kolpe.

Nelyady Police have registered a case.
