Nejaru murder case accused files bail application

Udupi, Dec 16, 2023: Praveen Arun Chowgule, the accused in the case of murder of four members of a family at Nejaru in Udupi has applied for bail at the Second Additional District and Sessions Court. Advocate K S N Rajesh has filed the bail application on behalf of the accused. 

Notice has been served to public prosecutor Prakash Chandra Shetty to file objection if any on December 20.

Chowgule is presently lodged in Parappana Agrahara Prison in Bengaluru. His judicial custody period has already been extended till December 18.
