National Pharmacy week inaugurated by DMO

Mangaluru , Nov 20, 2019:   Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the National Pharmacy Week programme organised by the Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Valachil, and the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Dakshina Kannada; Dr Rajeshwari Devi H R, District Wenlock Hospital superintendent and district medical officer (DMO), has urged pharmacists to be vigilant about drug abuse and its influence on the younger generation.  The National Pharmacy Week is being observed from November 18 to 22.

 

Priority for research    :  Srinivas University Pro Chancellor Dr A Srinivas Rao asked young pharmacists to involve themselves in research in nanotechnology to design life-saving drugs.

Srinivas College of Pharmacy Principal Dr A R Shabaraya told young pharmacists to change their approach to work from product-oriented to practice-oriented. The need today has changed and service delivery must keep pace.
